Donald Sabbarese, Director

Dr. Donald Sabbarese specializes in the area of macroeconomics and financial institutions. He directs the Georgia Purchasing Managers Survey and other research involving the local economy, such as industry surveys and economic impact studies. His work at the Econometric Center has been reported in the regional and national media. He is a frequent speaker to business and civic groups and has contributed to local magazines and other news media outlets. Dr. Sabbarese has testified before Georgia legislative committees on matters related to bank legislation.

Govind Hariharan, Associate Director

Dr. Govind Hariharan is a Professor and Department Chair at the Coles College of Business. His areas of expertise are Health Economics, Regulation and Financial Economics. He is a member of the advisory board of the Wellstar Institute for Better Health, Leadership Council of American Diabetes Association (Atlanta & North Georgia), and serves on many health care related taskforces. He has consulting experience in the banking, real state, and retail food industries.

Dimitri Dodonova, Assistant Director

Dimitri Dodonova specializes in business analysis and marketing research. He is focused on analysis of data-intensive projects, and has research interests in quantitative analysis and data mining. Previously he worked as a business analyst for Newmont and Unilever, and has directed several survey-based marketing research projects for InfoMarket. He has taught statistics and project management courses for business. He is the founder of PriceQuantics. He holds a Master in Information Systems, an MBA, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering.

Victor Wakeling, Research Associate

Victor Wakeling, CFA, CMA, CFP, joined the KSU faculty in 2002 after completing a 23–year career with BellSouth Telecommunications Inc.   BellSouth assignments included econometric analysis within BellSouth's Management Sciences Division and financial analysis within the Regulatory Policy Group.  Victor has experience with estimating price elasticity of demand, measuring productivity, cash collections analysis, optimization and other areas.  During his career at BellSouth Victor achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) professional certifications.  Victor has been an active member in the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts.
